Fine Metalworking

By combining traditional techniques, state-of-the-art tools,

and digital technologies, the Atelier pushes the envelope

yet further in terms of metalworking inventiveness.

The Atelier François Pouenat makes classical and contemporary metalwork pieces, including gates and doors, decorative railings, bannister rails, and interior fittings like bookshelves, fireplaces, and decorative panels.

The company bears the Entreprise Du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, and regularly works on the restoration of historic monuments. It worked on the renovation of the Crillon and Plaza Athénée hotels in Paris, and has produced contemporary pieces like the gate in the Eataly Paris Marais space, commissioned by Galeries Lafayette.
